Description:
- Measure, mark and arrange materials in preparation of building erection
- Use miscellaneous power tools
- Assemble materials per plans & specifications
- Check accuracy of work with levels, plumb bobs, framing squares and making any necessary adjustments
- Install roofing, siding & trim as required
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Complies with Astro policies and procedures
- Operate construction equipment as required i.e.: skid steer, scissor lift, etc.
- Any combination of job related experience and/or training which would produce the required knowledge, skills and abilities
- Astro provides on-the-job training
- Ability to perform tasks accurately, effectively and in a timely manner
- Must be able to multitask, possess good communications skills
- Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to work under time constraints
- Ability to interface with customers, sub-contract crews and company personnel
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions accurately
- Ability to safely perform major job responsibilities with reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to lift at least 80lbs
- Lifting anything >80lbs requires additional personnel and utilizing a dolly or forklift if possible.
