Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 08/03/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at a state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation hospital. This role focuses on the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of severe injuries or illnesses. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment, ensuring a tailored approach to each patient’s recovery. Responsibilities Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries. Implement therapy interventions aimed at maximizing patients’ health, function, and quality of life. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care. Maintain accurate patient records and document therapy sessions in the electronic health record (EHR) system. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must have a valid Physical Therapist (PT) license. Minimum of 1 year of inpatient rehab or hospital experience preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Schedule This is a full‑time position with a shift from 07:00 to 16:30. Typically, the schedule is Monday through Friday with 1‑2 weekend shifts per month. Assignment Duration This is a 13‑week contract position.
