This role is both analytical and strategic, requiring a forward-thinking mindset to tackle complex business problems. You will work collaboratively across the Lyft Business organization, as well as with cross-functional teams, making it crucial to build consensus and support to achieve segment-level goals.You are a good fit if you are a self-starter with B2B strategy experience. An analytical mind and skill set are critical; the role requires understanding how to parse and frame data to guide our strategic direction. You must be forever curious and ready to join a high performing team with big goals.Responsibilities: Identify new use cases and market segments to define the next generation of B2B transportation solutions, positioning Lyft Business for long-term, durable growthDevelop comprehensive business cases, including market sizing, competitive analysis, financial forecasting, and risk assessmentsMonitor key industry trends and competitive landscape to ensure Lyft Business remains at the forefront of the marketSource and develop B2B partnerships end-to-end - from opportunity assessment and commercial model through cross-functional launch - to open new growth channels for Lyft BusinessAnalyze key business metrics and performance indicators using both quantitative and qualitative data to guide strategic decision-makingPartner with product, marketing, and analytics to drive alignment on critical strategic decisions and turn them into launched, measurable initiativesCreate executive-level deliverables to inform leadership teams across Lyft Inc.Experience:BS/BA in Business or relevant field; MBA a plus5+ years of experience in business strategy, management consulting, or related fields, with a proven track record of delivering strategic business growthProven experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for B2B products or services, ideally in the transportation or technology industriesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.Excellent project management skills and strong attention to detail with the capability to work on multiple work streams/priorities simultaneouslyComfort operating in ambiguity - takes a loosely scoped problem, structures it, and drives to a recommendation Track record of driving cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders without direct authorityExcellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex insights to various audiencesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityPartnership or business development experience a plusFamiliarity with high growth or tech company operations a plusBenefits:Great medical, dental, and vision insurance options with additional programs available when enrolledMental health benefitsFamily building benefitsChild care and pet benefits401(k) plan with company match to help save for your futureIn addition to 12 observed holidays, salaried team members have discretionary paid time off, hourly team members have 15 days paid time off18 weeks of paid parental leave. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
