Forklift Operator
Glen-Gery Corporation is seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our Pittsburgh, PA manufacturing facility for an immediate start. This role is ideal for safety-conscious, dependable individuals with a strong work ethic who are looking to contribute to a fast-paced production environment and be part of a well-established industry leader.
Headquartered in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, Glen-Gery Corporation is one of the largest brick manufacturers in North America. Operating as part of Brickworks North America, Glen-Gery has eight brick manufacturing facilities, 26 company-owned Supply Centers and three Design Studios, including Philadelphia, Baltimore and the global flagship location in New York City.
This pivotal role will work with the existing sales leadership team to oversee the implementation of commercial strategy initiatives across channels and markets in North America. The person in this role will also work closely with the broader Brickworks team to drive sales growth, best practices, and enhance Sales Ops processes to meet the company's strategic objectives.
Required skills/abilities:
- Loading of delivery trucks in a safe and timely manner
- Experience within manufacturing or a similar environment preferred
- Self-motivated with good time management is essential
- Attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot required
- Previous forklift experience
- Must be able to rotate shifts.
Qualifications:
- 1 + years' experience operating a forklift
- Material handling experience preferably in the building products industry preferred
