Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care to oncology patients in a high-acuity acute med-surg unit
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status; administer medications and IV therapies; respond promptly to clinical changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans
- Maintain patient safety, perform fall precautions, infection control, and wound/skin assessments as applicable
- Support patient admissions, transfers, and discharges; participate in rounds and communicate with physicians and families

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience within the oncology specialty or closely related area
- AHA BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a 2x3 schedule
- Holiday coverage: must work two major holidays of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day, plus one minor holiday (The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Note: No local candidates within 50 miles of the assignment location
