Machinist I, 2nd shift

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office. The company offers $22.00-$30.00/hr based on experience, a $4,000 sign‑on bonus, and a competitive benefits package that starts day one, including a 401(k) match. The facility is a state‑of‑the‑art, climate‑controlled building. Regal Rexnord’s Aerospace and Defense business is on an upward trajectory, providing significant growth opportunities. Key Accountabilities Work from process sheets, blueprints, setup sheets, setup cards, machine status boards and written or verbal instructions. Machine and install or re‑cut chuck jaws as required. Insert and secure tooling in machine turrets and perform machine set‑ups. Download and upload programs into machine and make minor programming adjustments as needed. Operate different types of computerized numerical controls to manufacture finished machined products by performing a wide range of machining operations within tight tolerances. Inspect own work for correct dimensions and ensure that company quality and quantity standards are maintained, completing required documentation; also inspect the work of other machinists. May be required to operate multiple machines and rotate among departments. Enter data into ERP system. Load and unload component parts up to 25 lbs. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Restricted by federal export control laws; candidates must be U.S. Persons (citizens, nationals, permanent residents, asylum seekers, refugees, or others who qualify for a license). Previous experience and demonstrated proficiency in operating manual lathe or CNC lathe, CNC mill machines, or resistance spot welder (any combination of two machines) with intermediate knowledge of machine setup. High school education or equivalent experience. Reliable with minimal call‑offs; good attendance expected. Minimum of 2 years of related experience and knowledge of machining principles for CNC machine tools. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints in English. External candidates must pass a Machinist test measuring mechanical aptitude. Compensation based on experience/skills: $23.00 to $30.00/hr. Additional shift differential may be offered.
