RN - ICU

PCU RN - Critical Care/MST Flex Pool

This is a 13-week contract position.

4x12-hour shifts, nights from 19:00 to 07:00.

The PCU RN will be responsible for providing critical care to patients with various medical needs, managing cardiac drips and interpreting dysrhythmias independently. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Medical Surgical Telemetry units.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage and interpret cardiac drips (excluding vasopressors).
• Read and interpret ECG strips.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
• Float to other designated units as needed based on unit census.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid, participating compact license.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience.
• Experience with cardiac telemetry is required.
• Must be comfortable floating to other hospital units.
