Ultrasound TechnologistLocation: Carbondale, ILShift: NightTime Type: Full TimeFacility/Clinic Name: Memorial Hospital of CarbondalePosition Summary: Responsible for performing a variety of duties in relation to imaging patients and ensuring smooth operations of the Ultrasound department while providing appropriate levels of patient care and customer service.Education: Associates degree in Radiology/Ultrasound/Ultrasound or Certificate Program in Radiology/UltrasoundLicenses and Certification: RDMS registered or registry eligible. Registry eligible, must have proof of passing ARDMS SPI exam prior to start date and passing score on any one corresponding specialty exam within six months of hire. RVT within one year of hire required IEMA if required by position. BLSExperience and Skills: Technical Experience: N/ARole Specific Responsibilities: Performs ultrasound and radiography exams as appropriate. Utilizes PACS and EMR systems. Maintain appropriate IV/Contrast competency. Follows established protocols and procedures for proper patient position, exposure control, and radiation protection. Communicates clearly and effectively with all involved in the patient care process. Cleans and inspects departmental equipment. Cleans and stocks Imaging rooms.Compensation (Commensurate with experience): $34.43 To $53.37
