Mammography Technologist

This position is required to perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting. Responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Required Qualifications: Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Mammography Dependant on location, prior general radiography experience may be required Preferred Qualifications: 2 yearsfull-time mammography experience Why Join Providence Swedish?
