Security Officer Front Desk Job Locations US-MI-Benton Harbor Job Metadata Category (Portal Searching) Workdays Available: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Shifts Available: Morning Business Unit: AUS Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $18.54 / Hour Job Schedule Wed 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM Thur 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM Fri 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a front desk location within a manufacturing and industrial facility by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointment information, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor access records. Monitor access points, cameras, alarm panels, and other security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed. Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general site information, and support access control procedures for employees, vendors, and authorized guests. Minimum Requirements Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
