Direct Support Professional

About the Role: WE SUPPORT YOU LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team in Little Ferry, NJ. Responsibilities: Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, and household tasks Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately Transport and accompany clients to medical appointments, community activities, and recreational outings Encourage skill-building and promote independence in daily activities Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members Respond appropriately to behavioral challenges using approved techniques and protocols Requirements: High school diploma or GED required Previous experience as a DSP, caregiver, home health aide, or in a related field preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Ability to pass a background check and drug screening CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills Compassionate, dependable, and committed to person-centered care About Us: WE SUPPORT YOU LLC is a dedicated support services provider based in Little Ferry, NJ, committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
