We are held up by the arms of our amazing staff, community and regulars, and look forward to having a beer with friends that we haven't met yet.Job DescriptionStorm Peak Brewing Company is looking to add a packaging technician to our growing team. This person will assist in the packaging of beer both in cans and kegs. Additionally, one day per week will be spent doing a full clean of tap-lines for both our West End location and our Bus Stop location.Responsibilities include:Can line assistance (e.g. maintenance, pallet building, finished good handling)Keg washing/fillingDraft line cleaning and maintenanceAssist with miscellaneous brewhouse tasks where time permitsQualifications:A strong work ethic and attention to detailCritical thinking/problem solverSelf-motivated and can take initiativeOrganizedCleanPhysically capable of performing daily brewery work; standing most of the day, crouching, lifting 50LBs +, climbing a ladder etc..Science, kitchen or mechanical background a plusAbility to work as a team and independentlyAbility to work safely and quicklyAbility to consistently and correctly perform standard operating proceduresAbility to work a flexible schedule on some weeks is a plusCompensation and BenefitsFlexible holiday schedulePackaged beer/Merchandise spending stipendFree beer in the taproomAnnual ski pass (for full-time applicants)Salary: $21 - $23 per hour
