St. Francis has regularly out-scored other hospitals on Long Island.St. Francis Hospital is dedicated to providing a supportive environment, committed to the highest standards of patient care, where health care professionals can develop their expertise and strengthen their credentials.Job DetailsRadiology Assistant Job Details:Act as the operational engine of the department, directly managing the flow of patients to ensure our imaging equipment remains in constant useGreet and gown patients, performing initial screenings, and facilitating rapid room turnovers to minimize wait timeScan medical documentation into the PACS/Merge system to ensure Radiologists have immediate access to patient historiesBridge the gap between the waiting room and the scanner for increased departmental throughput, reduced technologist burnout to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for every patientRadiology Assistant Responsibilities:Assist technologist with coordinating workflowPatient transportAnswer phonesPrepare imaging table clean linen and assist the patients on and off the imaging tableRadiology Assistant Requirements:Minimum High School Diploma / Equivalent requiredPrior MA/PCA experience preferredPosted Salary RangeUSD $20.97 - USD $25.00 /Hr.This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
