Plumbing Engineer

We're seeking an experienced plumbing engineer/designer to join our team supporting mission critical and commercial projects across the DFW metro. This role calls for someone who can bring specialized medical gas system experience to a growing team, with strong opportunity for long-term career growth. What You'll Do Lead and support plumbing system design for mission critical and commercial projects Design and coordinate medical gas systems (oxygen, medical air, vacuum, WAGD, etc.) in compliance with NFPA 99 and applicable codes Coordinate closely with mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural teams to deliver integrated designs Review and stamp construction documents as applicable Interface with clients, contractors, and AHJs throughout project lifecycles Mentor junior designers and support their technical development Support proposal development and client relationships as needed What You Bring Relevant experience in plumbing engineering/design, with a proven track record on mission critical or commercial projects Hands‑on experience with medical gas system design (ASSE 6010/6015/6020 certification a plus) Working knowledge of NFPA 99, IPC, and applicable local plumbing codes Proficiency with Revit and/or AutoCAD PE license preferred, but open to strong candidates without licensure Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to code compliance and system reliability Location & Work Arrangement This position is based in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area with a hybrid work schedule.
