Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Montana

Start Date: August 19, 2026

Location: Montana

Schedule: Varied shifts including weekends and after-hours; on-call responsibilities as needed. This is a 13-week contract assignment.

Highlights:

• Labor & Delivery experience preferred, including antepartum, intrapartum, preop, circulating, and PACU
• Opportunity to serve as Charge Nurse and mentor nursing staff through catch/transition responsibilities
• Cross-departmental collaboration with occasional float assignments as safety companion
• Comprehensive stroke education and competency development included
• Modified primary nursing care model emphasizing patient and family-centered care
• 13-week contract with potential for varied shift assignments

Requirements:

• Current Montana Registered Nurse License (or ability to obtain)
• American Heart Association BLS Certification
• STABLE Certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification (recertification required every 2 years)
• Competence in modified primary nursing care delivery
• Must reside at least 90 miles from the facility location
• Stroke competency training: 2 hours initial education within first year, 1 hour annually thereafter
