Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Unit Capacity: 42 (Medical/Surgical ICU = 28 Beds, Neuro ICU = 14 Beds) Population Served: Patients with the following diagnoses: Abdominal Revascularization, Pneumonia, Acute Respiratory Failure (ARDS; Pulmonary Edema; Pulmonary Embolus), Diabetes Mellitus, Sepsis, Septic Shock, Sirs, Acute Renal Failure, Multiple Organ System Failure, Stroke, Intracranial Hemorrhage, S/P Craniotomy, CVA, Liver Failure, Hypertension, Hypotension, Pancreatitis, Post Neuroradiology Interventional Procedures. Ages of Patients Served: Adolescent through Late Adult (14 - 60+) Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:2 Core Staffing Plan: Typical RN to patient ratio is 1:2. The direct patient care staff consists of Registered Nurses, Patient Care Techs.
