Senior Account Executive, Mid-Market

As a key member of our Sales organization, you’ll play an invaluable role in Greenhouse’s growth strategy. You’ll be an individual contributor focusing solely on new business, selling to prospects and managing qualified leads generated by a mature sales development team. You’ll also use your own prospecting skills to bolster your pipeline, all the while contributing to best practices that support the success of your greater team. Who will love this job - A seasoned closer — you bring quota-carrying experience and know how to navigate a longer, more complex sales cycle - A value seller — you build a business case around value and ROI, not a scripted pitch - An AI-curious seller — you're comfortable learning and selling AI-enabled product capabilities as part of your pitch - A consultant — you can navigate difficult conversations to help customers understand value - A positive influence — you're positive in the face of adversity and love the challenge of a constantly evolving environment What you’ll do - Own a full-cycle sales process for a portfolio of Mid-Market accounts, from qualified lead to close - Balance qualifying inbound leads with proactively self-sourcing outbound opportunities to build your own pipeline - Manage your pipeline with disciplined prioritisation, using reverse-funnel metrics to understand what it takes to hit your goals - Apply a value-based sales methodology to uncover business pain and differentiate Greenhouse in a competitive market - Build trusted relationships with decision-makers through regular digital engagement and, where appropriate, face-to-face meetings - Maintain strong CRM hygiene and deliver clear, concise sales forecasts on a weekly/quarterly basis - Introduce Greenhouse's broader platform, including AI-powered capabilities like Voice AI, where it's the right fit for the customer - Partner cross-functionally with Marketing and other teams to optimize your sales funnel You should have - 5+ years direct new business/acquisition sales experience closing technology solutions with a proven track record of meeting quota - A track record of hitting and exceeding quota - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Dutch, German or French language skills preferred, but not mandatory - Your own unique talents!
