Job Title

Job Description

Major duties of this position include but are not limited to:

Communicates and interacts with patients and their family members in a manner which is appropriate to cognitive, emotional, and chronological maturation needs of the adult and geriatric patient
Prepares data processing report for daily batch review
Transfers Beneficiary Travel voucher daily batch to Fiscal Office
Process receipts and withdraws for Patient Funds in Veterans Personal Finance System
Evaluates all aspects of fraud research and prevention in accordance with VA policy
Corrects discrepancies between Veterans Personal Finance System and Financial Management System balances
Reviews eligibility of each Veteran before scheduling Special Mode Transportation, including review of CPRS Bene-Travel consults
Compiles and submits daily clerk report summarizing all vouchers processed, phone calls, and customer service interactions
Attends to all details of voucher processing to prevent the processing of fraudulent claims

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Telework
