Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Loxahatchee, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM

Job Description: The Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in the operating room environment. This includes assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care, and providing education related to surgical procedures and post-operative recovery.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Assist in surgeries and ensure a sterile environment.
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage anesthesia as required.
• Coordinate with surgical teams and ensure all necessary equipment is prepared.
• Provide post-operative care and patient education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Previous experience in an operating room setting.
