About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Lending Advisor for the Business Secured Lending. The Senior Business Lending Advisor serves as a client-focused sales and advisory leader responsible for driving secured lending growth through proactive client engagement, strategic relationship management, and disciplined execution across the lending lifecycle. This role is accountable for building and maintaining a strong network of internal partners and external referral sources to identify opportunities, acquire new clients, and deepen existing relationships.In this role, you will:Partner with Relationship Managers and external Centers of Influence to acquire, grow and retain relationships by creating best-in-class customer experiences for Business Banking customers to support lending needsDemonstrate expertise in credit analysis and underwriting for complex business clients, including the ability to assess financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and risk factors in coordination with credit partners, and present recommendations to clientsGenerate new business from existing or independently sourced new client relationships and work in close partnership with Relationship Managers to enable acquisition of the full client relationshipProactively provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and toolsManage the sale of products or services within a specified district, territory or lending verticalSelect and develop referral sources, leads and contacts and participate in trade shows and sales events, as requiredProvide management with appropriate and timely reporting and communications regarding lead generation, new transactions, forecast changes, market conditions and competitive issuesEnsure that all transactions from origination through close of deal are processed completely, accurately, in accordance with quality customer service standards and turn-timesRequired Qualifications:4+ years of Business Lending experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.Desired Qualifications:4+ years of experience in business banking, commercial lending, or financial services, with a focus on client acquisition, credit solutions, and relationship management within a Business Banking environmentDemonstrated ability to build and manage a robust pipeline through internal referrals, external prospecting, and engagement with centers of influence to drive sustained lending growthProven experience conducting consultative client conversations, assessing short- and long-term financial needs, and delivering tailored lending solutions across a range of secured productsAbility to operate effectively in a matrixed environment, partnering across Relationship Managers, underwriting, operations, and product teams to drive alignment and outcomes without direct authorityStrong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust with clients, present complex financial concepts clearly, and confidently advance transactionsHighly organized with strong prioritization skills and the ability to balance acquisition, lending execution, and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environmentJob Expectations:This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorshipThis position offers a hybrid work schedule and requires candidates to reside within a commutable distance of one of posted locationLocations:299 S Main St, SALT LAKE CITY, UT 84111999 3rd Ave, SEATTLE, WA 98104Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position.
