As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.40 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas. Monitor vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian access at gates and loading areas in accordance with site-specific procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and loading areas; working environments and conditions may vary by client site. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
