Sr. Test Technician

This full-time, 1st shift opportunity (Mon-Fri, 7:30 AM start) offers a contract-to-hire path for a dedicated technician passionate about driving quality, continuous improvement, and precision engineering in dual-beam systems.

responsibilities:

• Perform system assembly, integration, and final testing of wafer-based dual-beam systems using prescribed work instructions.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to guide manufacturing and process decisions.
• Execute machine setup, calibration, rebuilds, and preventive maintenance on complex manufacturing equipment.
• Perform wide-ranging troubleshooting on electronic and mechanical assemblies at both component and system levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement, 5S practices, and lean manufacturing initiatives.

 
qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience, or a 2-year technical degree (or equivalent combination).
• Proven hands-on experience using Digital Multimeters.
• Demonstrated expertise in mechanical and electronic troubleshooting.
• Ability to read detailed technical drawings and schematics.
• Ability to work comfortably in a cleanroom environment with required PPE and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
