Position Rockefeller Capital Management is seeking a motivated individual with a proven track record as an investment banking Analyst to join the Investment Banking team. As part of the team, the Analyst will have the opportunity to work on a variety of assignments, including sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions; divestitures and spin-off engagements; capital-raising (debt and equity); special committee engagements; direct investments and co-investments; and, more broadly, evaluation of strategic alternatives. Responsibilities The Analyst will be an ambitious self-starter with a proven record of creative and resourceful problem solving. The candidate will be interested in a career in investment banking and eager to learn. We are seeking an academically and professionally accomplished Analyst with the ability to multitask. This position comes with challenging work and a demanding environment in a rapidly growing firm. Analyst work will include: Performing financial analysis and modeling, utilizing various valuation techniques Drafting materials for client meetings Preparing memoranda for internal and external use Conducting financial and other business-related research Coordinating complex and often time-sensitive processes Engaging in client-facing situations Assisting in the execution of transactions Participating in talent development efforts, including recruiting and training Qualifications 1-3 years of experience as an investment banking Analyst, preferred Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field Knowledge and experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and financial databases Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong grasp of corporate finance and financial accounting High attention to detail and commitment to deliver high-quality work product consistently Ability to work accurately under pressure to meet competing deadlines Excellent time-management skills Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Assertiveness, initiative, strong work ethic, team focus Proven track record of results Experience with valuation, modeling, and forecasting Strong analytical and quantitative skills Creative, resourceful problem solver Persuasive and goal-oriented Professional and personable demeanor Extremely reliable character with a demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Proficiency using AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to work efficiently Compensation Range The anticipated base salary range for this role is $105,000 to $110,000. Base salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. In addition, this role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
