Robert Half is partnering with a well-established, global company in its search for a Corporate Counsel to join its Legal team. Reporting to the General Counsel, this attorney will advise on corporate, commercial, and compliance matters, delivering practical, business minded guidance across an international organization. Hybrid flexibility with 1 or 2 days in office in Sarasota, FL. Competitive salary plus bonus and long-term incentive compensation.

Responsibilities include:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, including MSAs, customer contracts, NDAs, licensing agreements, and distributor arrangements
• Advising on regulatory and compliance matters across federal, state, and international jurisdictions
• Partnering with Finance, HR, Compliance, and Operations on timely, practical legal advice
• Identifying and mitigating legal risk and recommending proactive solutions
• Supporting M& A due diligence, deal structuring, and integration on acquisitions
• Advising on employment matters and internal policy alongside HR
• Overseeing IP protection and coordinating with outside counsel on filings
• Managing pre-litigation disputes and litigation or arbitration with outside counsel

Qualifications:

• J.D. and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
• 4+ years of relevant legal experience in a corporate legal department or law firm, in-house experience preferred
• Strong background in corporate law, commercial contracts, and compliance
• Comfort operating in a global organization with cross border transactions
• Familiarity with data privacy, cybersecurity, or international regulatory frameworks a plus
