ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical Ortho, Neurology (Day Shift) in Janesville, Wisconsin.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires 12-hour shifts, working from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Candidates must be available to work every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide high-quality care for patients. This role involves administering prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures, while maintaining documentation in accordance with standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans based on physician directives and hospital policies.
• Engage in patient and family instruction.
• Participate in department performance improvement activities, potentially including shared governance.
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments to support the patient's longitudinal care plan.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to ensure patient safety and enhance the patient experience, escalating concerns to the appropriate channel when necessary.

Required Experience

• Current Wisconsin RN license.
• NIHSS certification.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Certifications/Licensure

• Must possess a valid Wisconsin Registered Nurse license.
• NIHSS and CPR/BLS certifications are required.
