Start an impactful journey supporting students’ educational and behavioral growth in a vibrant school community near Norristown, PA. Multiple contract positions are now open for enthusiastic paraprofessionals and behavior specialists who are ready to make a difference, beginning as soon as possible. Opportunities are available in both elementary and middle school settings, with roles supporting individual students 1:1 as well as classroom-based positions.
What You’ll Bring:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional, behavior specialist, or in a similar educational support role
- Strong interpersonal skills and a caring, patient approach to student engagement
- Familiarity with providing individualized support to students with academic or behavioral needs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and school teams
- Flexibility to work in various support settings, including 1:1 and group environments
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or relevant certification in education or behavioral support is a plus
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Offer dedicated assistance and encouragement to students requiring extra academic or behavioral support
- Implement individualized educational plans and behavioral strategies under the guidance of certified staff
- Support classroom management, help facilitate lessons, and contribute to a positive classroom environment
- Document progress, follow school protocols, and communicate updates to the instructional team
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging space where all students can thrive
