POSITION SUMMARY

Radiology Associates of Florida (RAF) is seeking a General Radiologist to join its practice in Pensacola, FL. This position will split time between inpatient and outpatient settings, serving Sacred Heart Hospital. Sacred Heart is a 560+-bed hospital located in sunny Pensacola, FL. Sacred Heart Pensacola is the flagship hospital for Ascension in the Florida Panhandle. It is a Level III trauma center and the region's only Pediatric Trauma Referral Center.

• Schedule: Monday through Friday (8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. EST) or 7 on/7 off
• Low volume of weekend shifts for partners (12 weekend days a year)
• Mix of onsite at Sacred Heart Hospital and remote shifts

RAF is a leading radiology practice in Florida. We serve the most prestigious, established health systems in the state, including on the east and west coasts, the Florida Panhandle, and the Keys. Our scale affords our practice stability and gives our radiologists flexibility in study mix and scheduling. We also recognize that scale alone does not beget excellence. We are quality-oriented, and we practice radiology at the cutting edge-encouraging subspecialty-level interpretations across the practice and facilitating collaboration and consultation among our radiologists.

Our state-of-the-art IT suite includes universal PACS across the practice, AI tools, and integrated doc-to-doc communication widgets. Mosaic Reporting™ uses ambient AI and large language models (LLMs) to structure reports as you speak naturally. You can dictate as if you're teaching a fellow. Just describe what you see, and Mosaic builds the structured report automatically, even inserting normal findings for you.


Our practice is locally and democratically led, with decisions vested in the hands of the group at large rather than a few founders or a small group of shareholders. We are the teaching physicians for the University of South Florida Department of Radiology in Tampa. In Sarasota, our physicians staff the Florida State University College of Medicine, hosting medical students in their third and fourth years. We also invite residents from the FSU Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine Residency programs to rotate in our departments.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy and residency-trained in Diagnostic Radiology
• Board-eligible or certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
• Fellowship training is a plus, but not required
• Medical license or the ability to obtain a license in the state of Florida

COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is $500,000-$1,000,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
