Associate Manufacturing Technician
Location: Acton, MA
Schedule:
- Weekend Days | Friday - Sunday | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Weekend Nights | Friday - Sunday | 6:00 PM - 6:00AM
Pay: $26.40 - $30.00 per hour
We are seeking a mechanically inclined Associate Manufacturing Technician to support highly automated production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on contract opportunity is ideal for candidates with machine operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, or manufacturing experience who enjoy working with advanced automation and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, monitor, and perform basic maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot machine faults, clear stoppages, and support equipment repairs
- Monitor production processes using Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
- Perform quality inspections using measuring tools such as calipers and gauges
- Maintain material flow and ensure production schedules are met
- Generate work orders and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Support equipment validation, new product launches, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow GMP, safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized production environment
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or 3+ years of manufacturing experience
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work with automated equipment and computer-based systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic math skills and ability to read and follow documentation
- Experience with robotics, automated assembly, HMIs, cleanroom manufacturing, or medical device production is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Stand for extended periods throughout a 12-hour shift
- Frequent walking, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
