Document Specialist

Salary: $46,657.6 - 54,080 per year Requirements:

• We require intermediate-level experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• We require experience with Microsoft Access or a similar database application.
• We require experience with C# programming or an equivalent language.
• We require experience in the life insurance industry.
• We prefer 2 to 3 years of related experience.
• We prefer background in document development and testing.
• We prefer industry-recognized certifications.
• We require an associate degree in Business; a degree in a related field is also acceptable.

• We create, maintain, and test program coding sections and related documents using publishing software for correspondence generation.
• We develop materials for new products, product and state maintenance, product approvals, product enhancements, and regulatory updates.
• We add rules, conditional logic, variables, and data formatting needed to retrieve specific policy information.
• We build test plans, manually generate correspondence, and resolve printing, programming, and generation issues.
• We implement program sections and documents, verify functionality, update documentation checklists, and notify internal clients when work is complete.
• We create queries and reports with database software for testing purposes.
• We prepare and update documents using word processing software for the Product Filing team.
