Inventory Control Coordinator
Location: South Gate, CA Pay: $20$21/hour Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM4:30 PM Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire Industry: Luxury Furniture, Home Staging & Logistics Bilingual: Spanish/English preferred
Position Overview: A leading luxury furniture and home staging company in South Gate is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to support inventory accuracy and day-to-day warehouse operations. This is an urgent temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with inventory systems, and able to coordinate effectively with warehouse and operations teams. The Inventory Control Coordinator will work onsite within the company's multi-floor warehouse facility and help ensure furniture, dcor, and other inventory is accurately tracked and accounted for as it moves throughout the operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory tracking.
- Verify inventory quantities, locations, and item information.
- Research and help resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as needed.
- Update inventory information accurately in company systems.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel regarding inventory movement and product locations.
- Assist with locating missing or incorrectly assigned inventory.
- Maintain organized and accurate inventory documentation.
- Communicate inventory issues or discrepancies to the appropriate team members.
- Follow established warehouse, inventory control, and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous inventory control, warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or related experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable working with computers, scanners, and inventory tracking systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work the full 8:00 AM4:30 PM schedule.
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
Compensation & Opportunity: $20$21/hour, depending on experience. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to join the company permanently based on performance, attendance, and business needs.
