Spring 2027 Production Operations Student Co-Op

Opportunity Spring 2027 Semester Production Student Co-Op opening (paid, with housing stipend) for our plant in Muskegon, Michigan. A minimum of a 3-month assignment is required. Part-time employment (20+ hrs/week) for 6 months also qualifies. Responsibilities Support the production team with meeting expected production schedules and material quality while controlling plant costs. Relate effectively to all personnel (hourly and salaried) to promote cooperative, interactive working relationships. Assist in training initiatives (safety, quality, and operation) for hourly production employees. Promote proper housekeeping and ensure work areas are clean, maintained, and safe at all times. Make necessary production system transactions. Track and support cost reduction efforts. Analyze production data to establish and document tasks. Provide support for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and better working relationships. Assist with Production Operation department duties and perform other related duties as assigned. Additional Responsibilities Work with the Production team to prepare, coordinate and maintain production schedules. Collaborate with operations to meet department goals. Qualifications Competencies: Interpersonal skills; Computer skills. Education and Experience: Enrolled and completed 2+ years at an accredited university in a related field of study (e.g., Business, Engineering, Material Science, Manufacturing Management). Special Skills: Ability to organize and support multiple priorities; problem analysis and resolution; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; commitment to company values; change management; computer proficiency in Windows environment and software tools that support job responsibilities.
