This exam will evaluate knowledge of commonly used drugs and their effects, along with mathematical calculations regarding correct dosages and IV problems. A passing grade of 90% is required, and this exam may be retaken once. Failure to pass the retake may result in termination of employment. Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in an Intensive Care Unit. The role involves caring for a mixed unit with medical, neuro, and cardiovascular surgery patients. The unit typically has 38 beds with patient ratios of 2:1 or 3:1. Candidates should have experience with CRRT, vents, and hemodynamics. Floating between Med Surg and Stepdown units is required. The ideal candidate is team-oriented and possesses a compassionate demeanor. Dress code requires black scrubs; hoodies are not acceptable attire. Candidates with CCRN or SCRN certifications, as well as experience in open heart recovery or CRRT, are preferred.
