This 420-bed health system has served the community as the regional health provider since 1918. The facility comprises more than 40 different facilities that serve the entire region. Traditional acute care services are complemented by mission-based services to support the care continuum for all members of the community.

About the Facility Location

Michigan offers diverse outdoor recreational opportunities throughout the year, with scenic drives and seasonal outdoor pursuits available. The state features numerous attractions and activities ranging from water-based recreation to winter activities, with over 250 unique sites and cultural destinations that cater to different interests and family activities across multiple seasons.

About the Clinician's Workday

The physician associate will provide comprehensive cardiothoracic surgery coverage working 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week including weekends, nights, and weekdays. The clinician will collaborate with the surgical team to ensure continuity of care across the cardiothoracic surgery service line. Daily responsibilities include managing surgical cases and maintaining accurate documentation for all patient encounters. The position requires board certification and prescriptive authority for comprehensive patient management.

Additional Job Details

Case Load/PPD: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week. including weekends, nights, and weekdays.
Support Staff: Staffing includes 2 APPs on the day shift and 1 APP on the night shift.
