In this role, you'll assemble mechanical components, use precision measuring tools, operate production equipment, and help ensure every product meets our quality standards. • Assemble small and medium-sized mechanical components following work instructions and blueprints.
• Operate production equipment such as presses, scanners, and magnetizing/demagnetizing machines.
• Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, indicators, and rulers.
• Fit, align, and adjust components to ensure proper function and quality.
• Perform repair and rework on assemblies when needed.
• Handle magnetic and delicate components safely and carefully.
• Work with adhesives and glues while following safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Meet production and quality goals while working independently.

• Mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Experience working with small parts or precision assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, or work instructions.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Experience in a production, manufacturing, warehouse, or technical environment.
• Ability to learn new processes and work independently.

You'll work in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment using specialized assembly and measuring equipment. This role involves handling small and delicate components, working with magnetic materials, and occasionally using adhesives in a ventilated work area. Successful team members are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and enjoy hands-on work.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
