Fast-Growing rehabilitative health clinics in search an excellent scheduler / liaison. Our practice is currently in search of candidate with strong customer service experience in the medical field. Ideal candidates must be independent, dependable, organized, and have a high attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills to supersede expectations and demonstrate exceptional professional behavior as a representative of MASRAC.

• Obtain and accurately enter accurate patient demographic, insurance authorization and workup from physician offices at time of scheduling.

• Maximize efficiency within the schedule by organizing cases.

• Coordinates schedule with Provider time, staffing, and patient needs in mind.

• Works closely with Clinical Director to avoid conflicts.

• Communicates changes to schedule to appropriate staff.

• Verifies information being entered into system is correct, i. e. spelling of name, DOB, gender, insurance information, etc.

• Ability to prioritize and work independently.

• Ability to provide direction to others that is clear, concise and promotes efficiency throughout the center.

• Knowledge of ICD 10 codes.

• Has thorough knowledge of MASRAC procedures.

• Demonstrates knowledge of insurance lines of business.

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.

• Have the ability to evaluate problematic situations and multiple alternative scenarios and come to independent conclusions on how to respond appropriately.

• Have ability to communicate effectively with patient, attorneys, physicians, and other teammates.

• Possess knowledge of typing, word processing, spreadsheet and computer billing systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35,000.00 to $45,000.00 /year

Required education:

• High school or equivalent

Required experience:

• Scheduling 2+ Years
• Records 2+ Years
