Pride Health is hiring a Echocardiographer to support our client's healthcare facility in Mt Kisco, NY 10549, USA.

Schedule:  Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm
Location:   Mt Kisco, NY 10549, USA
Job Type: Local contract
Contract Length: 4+ months contract (Possibility of extension or conversion) 
Pay Range: $42 to $46/hour*
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.  

Duties: 

• Perform echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound examinations to evaluate heart structure, function, and blood flow.

• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images using appropriate scanning techniques and equipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established protocols.

• Review images for completeness and quality, document findings, and prepare results for interpretation by the cardiologist or ordering provider.

• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout examinations while explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns professionally.

• Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare team members, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure proper equipment handling and infection control.

Requirements: 

• Education:  Associate degree or diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Echocardiography, or Cardiovascular Technology from an accredited program.
• Certification(s):  Echocardiographer certification required.
• Years of experience: 1–2 years of hands-on echocardiography scanning experience; cardiology experience preferred.
• Skills/Specialties/Technology:   Echocardiography and cardiac ultrasound scanning, diagnostic image acquisition, cardiac anatomy and function assessment, patient care, accurate documentation, equipment handling, strong communication skills, positive personality, high energy, and flexibility.
