Financial Specialist - Continuing Education - Camps and ConferencesJoin the Camps and Conferences team in successfully hosting over 10,000+ youth and adults annually through camps, conferences, events and lessons. This position supports the unit by being the primary person responsible for all financial operations. The role also prepares, analyzes, and distributes financial reports to monitor budgets, revenue, expenses, and overall program performance. In addition, this position works closely with program staff, vendors, and the finance team to resolve billing inquiries, maintain accurate financial records, support budget planning, and ensure the smooth and efficient financial administration of all Camps and Conferences activities. This is a full-time, 12-month position.Key Job Responsibilities:Processing and maintaining accurate billing and invoicing. Creates general reporting for transactionsAudits or processes advanced transactions and assigns funding codes in accordance with established rules, regulations and policies Audits or reconciles original purchase documents with payments Reallocates expenses to appropriate funding stringsOverseeing accounts payable by reviewing and paying vendor invoices in a timely mannerReconciling financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with organizational financial policies and proceduresReviews transaction processing internal controls and recommends policies and proceduresProduce final accountings for each unique eventManage the hire and payroll for all employeesDepartment: Continuing Education- Camps and ConferencesCompensation: Well-qualified candidates can expect a starting hourly wage within a range of $21/hr - $24/hr.
