PrideStaff - Greenville is seeking an experienced, technical, and dependable Quality Inspecting Shift Lead for a leading manufacturing customer in the Fountain Inn, SC area .

In this pivotal leadership role, you will serve as the technical expert for quality control inspections, part rework, and shift management. You will take full ownership of your assigned shift, leading and empowering a team of quality inspectors while maintaining transparent communication with site leadership and client contacts.

Quality Inspecting Shift Lead Primary Responsibilities include:

Your main responsibility is the effective leadership, coordination, and technical oversight of the shift quality team , ensuring total adherence to customer specifications and safety guidelines.

• Team Leadership & Training: Actively train, empower, and direct a team of quality inspectors; monitor shift productivity, evaluate individual performances, provide constructive feedback, and identify talent for career advancement.
• Shift Preparation & Audit: Validate that all inspectors have proper tools, equipment, and supplies for each work order; conduct multiple shift validations per inspector to ensure strict adherence to inspection instructions.
• Data & Reporting: Perform accurate timekeeping and data entry for your shift team; complete comprehensive shift pass-down reports and compile end-of-shift data reports for customer review.
• Compliance & Safety: Enforce 100% compliance with client PPE rules, site safety protocols, sign-in/out procedures, and break schedules.
• Communication & Escalation: Maintain transparent, honest communication channels with leaders and team members; share goals, provide regular quality updates, and promptly escalate customer concerns.
• Performance Management: Utilize company values and vision to track employee attendance, address performance issues promptly, and deliver clear guidance and coaching.
• Culture & Ethics: Lead by example with high ethical standards, ownership, and accountability, cultivating a culture of integrity, safety, and continuous improvement.

Quality Inspecting Shift Lead Requirements include:

• Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role , plus at least 1 year of hands-on QA inspection experience .
• Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to maintain composure and foster control under pressure.
• Mobility & Licensing: Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, active vehicle insurance, and the ability to travel within the local operating region to support client needs.
• Flexible Mindset: Adaptable schedule capabilities to support operational needs across facility locations when necessary.
• Professional Traits: An energetic, achievement-oriented attitude with expert-level commitment to customer service and technical quality standards.
