We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Practice Support Representative to support daily operations at our Lake Katrine location. This role is responsible for providing a positive patient experience by assisting with check-in and check-out, appointment scheduling, registration, and administrative support. Position Overview

This role is responsible for providing a positive patient experience by assisting with check-in and check-out, appointment scheduling, registration, and administrative support. The ideal candidate has strong customer service and computer skills, a pleasant demeanor, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Check patients in and out, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
- Schedule patient appointments and assist with appointment-related inquiries.
- Monitor and manage work queues to ensure tasks are completed accurately and promptly.
- Assist patients with MyChart activation and self-registration links.
- Provide courteous, professional, and patient-centered customer service.
- Support daily administrative and front-desk operations.
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members to help maintain efficient office workflows.
- Assist with additional practice support duties as needed.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience .
- Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate computer systems.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact professionally and courteously with patients.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to remain patient, pleasant, and helpful in a busy healthcare environment.
- Experience interacting directly with customers or patients.
- A friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor.
- Patience and the ability to handle patient questions and concerns with care.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Standard hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Rotating urgent care coverage: 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
- Saturday coverage: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
- Flexibility is required to accommodate rotating urgent care hours and Saturday scheduling.
