Signage & Graphics Installer — Alexandria, VA

SUI Creative is a family-owned, woman-owned signage and experiential graphics firm that has served the Washington, DC area since 1971. We design, fabricate, and install signage and graphics for law firms, national associations, and corporate headquarters across Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland. We're looking for an installer who takes pride in clean, precise work and wants to grow with a close-knit team.

You don't need to have installed signs before. If you have solid carpentry skills, are comfortable with power tools, and have basic electrical knowledge, we'll train you on the job alongside our experienced installers.

What you'll do

• Install interior and exterior signage, including dimensional letters, room ID and ADA signs, vinyl graphics, decorative and window film, and illuminated signs
• Remove and replace existing signage
• Conduct site surveys and take accurate field measurements
• Read shop drawings and blueprints to lay out and place signage correctly
• Work with project managers and the Installation Manager to solve problems on site and keep them updated on progress
• Work alongside other installers to complete projects on schedule
• Drive a company vehicle to job sites
• Follow safety procedures and use proper protective equipment on every job

What we're looking for

• Basic carpentry, power tool, and electrical skills
• Pride in delivering a polished product and leaving every site clean
• A friendly, professional manner with clients, building staff, and coworkers. Much of our work is in occupied, high-end offices.
• Ability to read drawings and take accurate measurements
• Comfort working at heights on ladders and lifts
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 7 years
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to take part in ongoing installation and safety training

Nice to have

• Sign installation experience
• Decorative or window film installation
• Retail, corporate interiors, or exterior sign installs
• Aerial or scissor lift experience or certification
• OSHA 10

Schedule & travel

• Full-time, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.. Some early-morning, evening, or weekend installs are required for building access.
