Description - The Banquet Head Houseperson will set up all meetings, meal functions and audio visual equipment in accordance with hotel and company policies. Supervise the banquet setup team and oversee shift operations to ensure all event spaces are prepared for upcoming business. Complete assigned tasks and follow all instructions from supervisors or shift leaders. Ensure all water, amenities, audio-visual and breaks are in the room at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the meeting. Respond to guest requests for additional equipment and supplies, communicate applicable charges, and notify supervisors for accurate billing. Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests professionally and responding promptly to their needs. Set up, maintain, and clean meeting and banquet rooms according to company and hotel standards. Refresh meeting rooms during breaks by replenishing supplies, replacing linens and water service, and removing trash. Assist with banquet meal service and event breakdown to support efficient operations. Help obtain signed banquet guest checks and submit them to the front office for accurate posting and billing. Follow all safety and energy conservation procedures while performing other assigned duties. Other duties as assigned.

Academic Background - HS Diploma or equivalent

Safely lift and transport various items as needed. Demonstrate strong manual dexterity and coordination for hands-on tasks.
