Renaissance Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is a 123-bed skilled and long-term care facility located in the University City area. We are looking for a caring and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Rehab Team! We are currently looking to expand our PRN staff pool.

Shift Type: FT, PT, and PRN

Job Responsibilities-

1. Implements the patient's individualized treatment plan as established by the primary Physical Therapist.

2. Work with other members of the rehabilitation team to implement programs consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient

3. Acts as an assistant to the Physical Therapist when the Physical Therapist is performing tests, evaluations, and complex procedures

4. Instructs patients, families, and other caregivers in the skills and techniques of the physical therapy treatment program under the supervision of the Physical Therapist

4. Perform other duties as assigned and required to provide quality care to residents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program.

2. Must be licensed in the state of Pennsylvania.

3. Requires good organizational and time management skills

4. Requires good verbal and written communication skills
