Facilities Maintenance Tech

Our client, a retail shopping center operator, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Tech to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Tech, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the physical plant of the shopping center. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to doing the right thing, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Tech

Location: Richmond, VA

Pay Range: $20/hr

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

What's the Job?

Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various building systems
Operating hi-lifts, trash compactors, freight lift, and trucks
Repairing, modifying, and moving mall furniture and fixtures
Performing minor roof, floor, and plumbing repairs
Assisting with maintaining inventory records and supporting HVAC maintenance

What's Needed?

High School Diploma or GED required
2+ years of Facilities Maintenance experience or similar
2 years of technical school graduation or certification preferred
Valid Driver's License required
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
