Position Overview:As a Composite Fabrication Technician, you will fabricate, assemble, and test composite components and support manufacturing process improvements. This hands-on role includes equipment troubleshooting, process development, and composite layup/fabrication for advanced systems. Location:On-site in Oak Ridge, Tennessee Your Day-to-Day as a Composite Fabrication Technician:• Fabricate, assemble, and test composite components for advanced systems. • Assemble, disassemble, and troubleshoot fabrication equipment. • Support development of operational procedures and process improvements. • Execute fabrication and assembly of complex components, test stands, and fixtures. Required Qualifications:• Associate degree in science/engineering with 2+ years of experience OR high school diploma with 6+ years of experience. • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on manufacturing experience. • Proficiency with shop equipment and fabrication tools. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently or in a team. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SolidWorks is a plus.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE or DOD clearance.
