Transplant PCU - Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule

This position requires work on a night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Transplant Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing transplant procedures and requires both Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to transplant patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on transplant procedures and care expectations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience in a Transplant PCU or similar critical care environment preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.
