About the Position

This role requires working three 12-hour shifts in the cath lab PACU. Experience with recovery from general anesthesia to moderate sedation is essential. Candidates must possess the skills needed for activated clotting time, cardioversion, and various cardiac procedures. Responsibilities include monitoring procedural sedation and administering medications as needed. Knowledge of infection prevention and following safety protocols is necessary. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in managing dysrhythmias and performing interventions like stent placement. The daily census is approximately 25-30 cases. The ideal candidate should be adaptable to float to like units based on facility needs. All applicants must have a strong commitment to patient care and teamwork.
