Material Handler- Night Shift

Order boxes from the warehouse. Ensure correct case labels match product specifications. Check that expiration dates on bags and labels match. Verify customer specs at the start and for each changeover. Clear basic faults on the automated case packer. Communicate numbers to the following shift. Clean the film area, keep the box maker running and refill boxes. Skid Tracking Print pallet tags when the skid is completed (not before). Scan the case label barcode off the finished skid. Attach the pallet tag to the correct skid. Track orders to avoid overruns. Communicate with the PMO and prepare for changeovers. Inspect skid, boxes, labels, and pallet configuration to match customer specifications in MIP/Infinity. Housekeeping/Breaks Keep the area free of foreign material (wood, box pieces, film). Assist packers when needed and notify supervisor. Operate with zero mistakes. Empty trash cans. Assist PMO with film changes if possible. Inspect bags for correct code dates per customer specification. Set up changeovers with all supplies (labels, boxes, tape machine, etc.). Qualifications Basic math skills. Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred. Reasoning Ability to apply common sense to carry out simple instructions. Ability to handle standardized situations with occasional variables. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand for extended periods. Must be able to reach, grasp, and lift using arms and hands. Walk occasionally and move freely through the plant. Regularly lift/move up to 15 pounds without assistance. Use pallet jack to move heavy material or finished goods. Use close, distance, and peripheral vision and adjust focus. Work Environment Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts. Regular exposure to noise levels that may require ear protection. Food Safety & Quality Follow all Shearer's safety guidelines, GMPs, and food quality standards reflected in SQF. Maintain good manufacturing practices (GMP) in personal hygiene and the work area. Ensure all potatoes meet Shearer's quality specifications. Report any foreign objects in the potatoes.
