Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/01/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Contract: 13 weeks or longer, through 02/27/2027 Shift: Nights, 3×12 hours (6:45 PM–7:15 AM) Hours: 36 or 48 hours/week Experience: Minimum 2 years Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted License: NC or Compact RN license; pending license accepted for submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, NIHSS EMR: Epic preferred Patient Ratio: 1:6 Weekend Requirement: 8 weekend shifts per contract Floating: Required RTO: Maximum 7 days, pre-approved; no RTO during the first week or additional RTO after signing COVID Vaccine: Not required Flu Vaccine: Required; medical/religious exemptions accepted Orientation: 3 days (1 day Epic training 2 days on the unit) EKG Test: Required before starting Lab/Testing: Must be completed within 48 hours after signing Local Candidates: Accepted; lower rate applies within 50 miles Major Holidays: Must work 2 of 3 major holidays About Care Career Care Career brings together a portfolio of leading healthcare staffing organizations, each delivering specialized talent solutions across the industry.
