Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Location: Juneau, Wisconsin
Schedule / Job Type: Contract | Days | 13-Week Assignment | Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments to residents under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized care plans and documenting patient progress
- Support residents in achieving functional goals related to mobility, strength, and daily living activities
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and progress
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Wisconsin
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar long-term care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a SNF or post-acute rehabilitation environment
- Familiarity with Medicare documentation and compliance requirements
