Registered Nurse - Adult Medical Oncology

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x7.5-Hour (08:00 - 16:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in Adult Medical Oncology, including gastrointestinal, genitourinary, breast, head and neck, neuro, thoracic, lymphoma, leukemia, GYN oncology, and classical hematology. The ideal candidate will perform various clinical tasks including Bone Marrow Biopsies, GYN Onc procedures such as paps, biopsies, colposcopies, and pelvic exams.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage treatments for oncology patients
• Perform Bone Marrow Biopsy in clinic and various GYN oncology procedures
• Charting using Epic system
• Access and manage ports, conduct central line blood draws
• Administer hormonal therapy and neupogen
• Provide colostomy care and patient education

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in oncology nursing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Active NJ or Compact RN license at the time of submission
• Epic charting experience required
